Rotate PDF Pages

Ad

Turn sideways or upside-down PDF pages the right way up — either the whole document or just the pages that need it. Rotation is lossless and runs entirely in your browser.

How it works

Every PDF page carries a rotation property, measured in degrees. Rather than redrawing the page, this tool reads that existing value, adds your chosen amount, and writes the result back — so a page already at 90° rotated by another 90° ends up at 180°.

Because only a number changes, nothing is re-compressed. Text stays selectable, images keep their exact original quality, and the file size is effectively unchanged.

Rotation wraps around at 360°, so rotating four times by 90° returns a page to where it started.

Worked example

You've scanned a stack of documents and a few sheets went through the feeder the wrong way round, so pages 4, 9 and 10 appear sideways. Entering4, 9-10 and choosing 90° anticlockwise fixes just those, leaving the rest untouched.

For a document scanned entirely upside down, leave the page box blank and choose 180° to flip everything in one pass.

Common questions

Can I rotate only some pages?

Yes. List the pages in the box — for example "3, 7-9". Leave it blank and every page in the document is rotated instead.

What if different pages need rotating different ways?

Run the tool more than once. Rotate the first set, then feed the downloaded file back in and rotate the second set by a different amount.

Does rotating re-save the images and lose quality?

No. Rotation is stored as an instruction in the page’s properties rather than by redrawing anything, so there is no quality loss at all and the file size barely changes.

Why does my PDF look right on screen but print sideways?

Some PDFs carry a rotation value that certain viewers apply and others ignore. Rotating with this tool writes a corrected value into the file itself, which usually resolves the inconsistency.

Is the file uploaded anywhere?

No. Everything happens in your browser and the document never leaves your device.
